description:

Musictheatre with Text by Thomas Kling, reflecting in recreation and own texts the life of the worldtravelling Oswald von Wolkenstein (1377-1445) . With mobile instruments (timpani on wheels, the brassplayers, sitting in wheelchairs, are moved by the dancers) the direction draws in an associative way images of pain, sadness, war and destruction. It is also a time-travel into the middle-age, which was not only dark and seems here not that far away. Deliberately the music does not quotate themes by Wolkenstein, but is looking for parallels in form and structure.
